1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 10Yonge.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

2. Purpose of the Site

10Yonge.com is a resident-run community platform designed to:

  • Facilitate communication and transparency

  • Allow reporting of deficiencies and concerns

  • Share news, updates, and resident-generated content

This Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Metropolitan Toronto Condominium Corporation No. 979 (“MTCC 979”), its Board of Directors, or Dell Property Management.

 

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Site responsibly and not for any unlawful or abusive purpose. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Impersonate any person or entity, including MTCC 979 officials

  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content

  • Upload or share private, confidential, or copyrighted information without authorization

  • Attempt to interfere with the Site’s functionality or security

  • Use the platform to harass, threaten, or intimidate other users

Violation of these terms may result in the removal of content and/or restriction of your access.

 

4. Content Submission and Moderation

You may submit content such as deficiency reports, event notices, photos, or comments. By submitting content, you:

  • Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share your content within the Site

  • Represent that you own or have permission to share the content

  • Acknowledge that we may review, moderate, edit, or remove content at our discretion

Anonymous submissions are allowed where appropriate, but all content must still comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

 

5. Intellectual Property

All original content on the Site—including tools, logos, text, graphics, and interactive features—is the property of 10Yonge.com and protected under Canadian copyright law.

The “10Yonge” name and logo are used under a pending Canadian trademark application and may not be used without written permission.

 

6. No Official Condominium Communication

The Site is intended for community engagement and transparency only. It does not replace or interfere with any official governance, decision-making, or communications channels under the Condominium Act, 1998 (Ontario).
Residents should continue to use official MTCC 979 channels for formal matters such as:

  • Board elections

  • Legal notices

  • Financial disclosures

  • Rule enforcement

 

7. Privacy and Use of Data

We do not collect personally identifying information unless you provide it voluntarily. Any data submitted (e.g., reports, photos) may be reviewed, archived, or forwarded to property management or board representatives, where relevant.

No user data is sold or shared with third parties. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for more details.

 

8. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or references to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.

 

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information

  • Continuous or error-free functionality

  • Results from using any site feature or tool

Use of this Site is entirely at your own risk.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall 10Yonge.com, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or reliance on any content provided.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
